Nothing like the smell of an autumnal SEB podcast.

A pic of a microphone.

Blah blah blah...

Fall arrives tomorrow and with it comes the need to do yet another Stupid Evil Bastard Podcast. ***Dave and I have managed to coordinate a time this Saturday to record another rambling session of tangent taking, but as always we need your help!

Topics! We need your topics! What do you want to hear two middle aged white nerdy guys talk about for an hour (or more)? Need relationship advice? Want our political insights?  We’re up for questions on just about anything no matter how ill qualified we happen to be to answer them. We can’t promise you the secrets to the ultimate questions of life, the Universe, and everything, but we’ll at least try to be funny when we make shit up.

So take a moment to drop a comment on this entry or send me an email with whatever you’re just dying to hear us address.

  1. Off the top of my head:

In terms of national news, what is your take on Troy Davis’ execution? What are your thoughts on Rick Perry?

I’ll make an attempt at a controversial question. Who in your opinion is the bigger threat to the well-being of the U.S.: the Taliban in Afghanistan, who we have been combating for a decade at the cost of billions of dollars and thousands of lives, or the far-right of the Republican party?

International news, what is your take on Palestinian statehood? I raise that of course in the context of the U.N. debate. Also, different topic, the church child abuse scandal in Ireland has been particularly heated this year, if you have any thoughts on that I would be interested.

I don’t expect any answers on the secrets of the universe… though feel free to give some ideas… but what aspect of astronomy do you tend to find most interesting? Planets? Black holes? Big Bang?

I’ve been reading a bit of Shakespeare recently, any thoughts on his work? Are either of you reading anything interesting at the moment?

    Thanks Les.

  2. I would love to hear conversation about why Progressives should vote for Obama. Why should dems be forced to choose a lesser of two evils. Why should we be voting based on fear. And if you have any thoughts on improving the situation.

Which republican would you feel the most comfortable with if one were to beat Obama? And please don’t answer based on who you think would win or has best chance.
