“Remember the Sabbath” by The Thinking Atheist.

The following video clip details some of the extraordinary lengths observant Jews will take to remember the Sabbath as God commanded them to do. I have to admit that I was unaware of some of the things appliance makers have done to make their products more appealing to Jewish believers. Check it:

I also love how they’re calling these segments “You Gotta Be Shitting Me!”

  1. What day of the week did God write the Ten Commandments? As I remember, when Moses brought them down from the mountain to preach to the Israelites, they were celebrating some kind of festival for Baal. Weren’t festivals of this sort always on Saturdays? Inquiring minds want to know!!! 🙂

    Peace.

  2. In one of Richard Feynman’s memoirs (which I recommend to one and all) he recalled staying in a hotel for a convention. The same hotel also had some kind of orthodox Jewish convention going on, and some of the participants got to asking him physics questions, like; “Is electricity fire?” “Great!”, he thought, “They’re interested in physics!” But in the end he was disappointed when turned out that they were only worried about whether they could use electrical devices on the Sabbath.

  3. But in the end he was disappointed when turned out that they were only worried about whether they could use electrical devices on the Sabbath.

What would a “Scientist” know about fire? Only God could give a good answer to that one. lol 😉

    Peace.

Figures, only Jews would try to jew their own god out of His day.
