Our move to the new server is complete.

SEB’s migration is done and everything should be working properly though it may take some time for the IP address change to migrate it’s way through the net. Of course if you’re reading this then it’s made its way through your DNS servers.

We’re also trying out a slightly different theme to see if it works any better. One thing I like about it is that if you move your mouse to the upper right hand corner of the screen a couple of buttons will pop up allowing you to adjust the size of the text and or width of the layout.

As always if you spot anything that doesn’t seem to be working properly then drop me an email and let me know.

  1. I’m liking the new theme a lot more. One little thing, it might be nice if, with those options in the upper right, there was an option for changing to a white on black. But I could see how that might get too complicated.

  2. Webs, the template does allow for custom CSS so I might look into it, but part of what’s been driving me nuts with getting an SEB theme together has been just how much extra CSS these templates use. Makes me realize just how sucky of a web designer I really am.

Patness, it surprises me how few fluid WP themes are out there. It seems there was a memo released at some point that said all webpages must be fixed width and I missed it.

YS, I wish I’d come up with a template this nice. It’s way beyond my ability.

  3. Yes, definitely a nice theme. I did like the widget drag&drop and collapse options of the previous theme, though.

A slightly less white centre column would be my preference over white on black, but I’ve never liked full-white in anything. I even grey-down my apps.

Where you problems related to Twitter Tools? I got all sorts of errors cropping up from that. I switched to WordTwit and my problems disappeared.

  4. Looks good, Les. Nice work.

There does seem to be a time-zone problem, though: my just-posted comment is shown as having been posted “about five hours ago”.

Wow. That’s a relief. I saw that yesterday and was convinced until just now that I’d somehow lost track of a huge chunk of time.
