Because I’m an atheist I’m often accused of having no morals, which simply isn’t true. However it is true that my morals conflict with many of those handed out in the Bible, as the results of the following quiz reveal:
Your morality is 0% in line with that of the bible.
Damn you heathen! Your book learnin’ has done warped your mind. You shall not be invited next time I sacrifice a goat.
Some people think that’s a bad thing, but wait until you see the morals in question.
Lifted from Pharyngula
I took the test, and as a lark, chose the harshest answer for each question. I got an 85% score.
That came as no surprise to me either.
Bah, only 69%.
Where do I join the angry mob that sodomizes angels?
After taking the test you can view the answer key. They could improve that page by citing the biblical passage that supports each of those “correct” answers. I’m sure it’s all in the book.
I got a 0% too.
I’m shamed with an 8%. I was tripped up by that trick question at the end. “John Bobbit wants to join your church…”
I don’t have a church. “God welcomes all”? It confused me.
My results were the same as Les’! Could it be we are related?
Technically, that should be “Does your morality come from a strict, literal reading of the worst parts of the Old Testament?” but I get your drift.
My results were the same as your’s Les. Whomever made up the test based it quite loosely on the old Testament; some of that stuff I am pretty sure isn’t even in there at all, and never used any of the teachings of the New Testament. So, basically it was a joke of a test, meant more to harm than to serve any other purpose.
Your morality is 77% in line with that of the bible.
Good, but you missed a few. God is on your side, but you need to do your part. Pray more, think less.
Guess I’ll be sitting beside you in hell, I too scored 0%. I’ll bring the cards if you’ll bring the poker chips.
