Tic Tac Bold commercial frightens me.

Have you seen the commercial for Tic Tac’s new “bold” version of the mints? An attractive man and woman pop them into their mouths where the mints proceed to bounce around in their cheeks causing them to deform visibly in what should be a very painful experience and they couldn’t be more delighted.

If they actually did that there’s no way I’d consider buying them. That would suck!

  1. The commercials for the Motorola phones with iTunes aren’t much better – a guy listening to music while his eyes, nose, ears and so on all wiggle around independantly of each other.

I don’t know what ad agencies are thinking these days. They have to get your attention somehow, but beaming disturbing imagery on unsuspecting viewers?

  2. I don’t know what’s wrong with you guys, but I LOVE that commercial. I was sitting in science being bored as hell, but then I started thinking about that commercial and just picturing it in my head. Soon I was so happy I started laughing out loud. It was much preferable to whatever we were talking about.
