Scratch your retro-gaming itch with a few hours wasted playing the original SimCity in your web browser. It’s the game that launched a thousand spin-offs including one of the best selling PC games of all time. I remember playing it on my old Commodore 64 back in the day carefully building up my city only to let some natural disaster loose on it to see what would happen. Ah, the wasted days of my youth. The game does use an ActiveX control, though, so if you’re adverse to loading up Internet Exploder then you’ll want to give it a pass.

Heck, I have a version for the Palm Pilot…
I love the original SimCity. It has a compelling simplicity that the later iterations failed to match.
Got the original on CD-Rom. Played the SNES variation back then.
CDROM? I pitched my PC floppy versions a few months ago
