Friggin’ spammers!

Damn, I changed the comment script name so it wouldn’t be hit by spammers and it looks like they’ve adapted their script to match it. I just deleted 9 spam comments from SEB as a result. Grrrr…

That’s definitely ONE thing I won’t miss.

  1. I know what you mean. I am soo looking forward to a MT-Blacklist for MT 3. I even had to turn on comment moderation on dasme.org.  I can’t imagine how bad it is here as my blog isn’t nearly visited as often as yours and was still was getting 10+ a day :

Spammers suck. And comment spammers are even worse then email spammers in my books.

  2. … ‘As surely as I live,’ says the Lord, ‘EVERY knee will bow before me; EVERY tongue will confess to God.’ “[ 14:11 Isaiah 45:23]
My earnest prayer for you is that your eyes are opened to the truth before it’s too late. I am praying for you, and If you’re brave enough… you’ll take a chance…(think about it; what do you have to lose??) you’ll take a minute out of your busy life to ask God to show Himself to you. He will do it if you ask~ and I guarantee you’ll be blown away by what you see. Or, you can get pissed off by me caring enough about ya to take the time out of my busy life to propose a challenge to you and you can continue to talk about religion more than most Christians do! Hey, now THAT’S ironic….:o)

  3. Julie:

Why is it so hard for you to accept that there is a person out there who has read the bible and yet decided to not believe in God?

Why does it hurt you so much for people to have different beliefs than yourself. Why must you then go and attack their beliefs and attempt to guilt him into believing what you believe.

Will you get a cookie if Les becomes Christian?

    Sincerly,
    Etan

P.S. Les, hope you don’t mind my telling her off, for you. You can do it as well, it’ll be fun.

  4. Etan,

i agree with you with what you said (“Why is it so hard for you to accept that there is a person out there who has read the bible and yet decided to not believe in God?”)

The bible is over-rated. It is an old book filled with stories of contradictions and “rules” of how to live your life. The only catch with this book though is if you dont follow the rules, you’re going to hell…. aparently

  5. Bec?
I cannot help but ask the question do you watch BBC (Not US) version of couplings?

Your use of the word ‘apparently’ reminds me so much of the character Susan. Ah hehe.

  6. you’ll take a chance…(think about it; what do you have to lose??)

This is the Classic Christian argument I see all the time & its just as silly the 100th time as it was the 1st.

What you have to lose is everything.
You have corrupted your mind which is your most valuable asset and your most valuable contribution. If you believe in one thing without any proof (religion), then why not believe in other things without proof? You’re lost….

To rest one’s case on FAITH means to concede that reason is on the side of one’s enemies- that one has no rational arguments to offer.
    Ayn Rand

The foundation of all morality is to have done, once and for all, with lying; to give up pretending to believe that for which there is no evidence, and repeating unintelligible propositions about things beyond the possibilities of knowledge.
    - Thomas Henry Huxley

Whatsoever is contrary to nature is contrary to reason, and whatsoever is contrary to reason is absurd.
    - Baruch Spinoza

What you ask is absurd, what I would have to lose is my rational mind.

  7. Julie, pray for me all you want. It doesn’t piss me off. Nor does your challenge. It’s a bit tiresome as I hear it all the time, but it doesn’t piss me off.

You need to read more of this blog before you make challenges like that, though, as it’s clear you don’t know my history too well. If you did, you’d already see how silly your challenge is.

  8. Julie,
My earnest wish for you is that your eyes are opened to reality before it’s too late. I am hopeful for you, and If you’re brave enough… you’ll take a chance…(think about it; what do you have to lose??) you’ll take a minute out of your busy life to ask yourself to think about whether does God exist or have even actually shown himself. Your mind will do it if you ask~ and I guarantee you’ll be blown away by what you come to realise. Or, you can get pissed off by me caring enough about ya to take the time out of my busy life to propose a challenge to you and you can continue to try to prove your own conflicting belief with reality by turning outwards and seeking solace in company rather than focusing on your own thought process! Hey, now THAT’S ironic….:o)

  9. I love the way Christians assume Atheists don’t believe in God simply because they’ve “never thought about it.”  As if a person can reach even the age of TWELVE without having been beaten about the head & shoulders with Jesus and the Bible everywhere they turn.

We’ve heard the message, we’ve thought about it, and we think it’s ridiculous bullshit, Julie.  Now go to your closet and pray.

  10. I am not from the United States of America neither am I a Christian but I believe that all the Semitic religions are inherently bigoted. I don’t believe in my religion either but it doesn’t go around hunting ppl and then shoving things up their arse!

The only thing I share with some Americans is that I believe in the law of tarts!
