“Crossing Over” kicks the bucket.

I’d like to say I see this as a sign people are starting to come to their senses, but I doubt that had anything to do with it.

MediasharX :: CROSSING OVER Sent to the Afterlife

After three low-rated seasons, CROSSING OVER WITH JOHN EDWARD has been canceled by parent company Universal. Edward will continue taping new episodes until the season’s order is filled. New episodes will continue to air on the Sci Fi Channel.

Still, goodbye to bad rubbish.

  1. Penn and Teller lambasted Edwards on their Showtime series “Bullshit.”  Having lost his mother, an outraged Penn took Edwards and other charlatans like him who profit off the grief of others, very personally.  It was a great episode (and I’m certain contained the most obscenities of any other I’ve seen since).

Unfortunately, my mom loves John Edwards.  Then again, she also believes that Bat Boy led US troops to Saddam’s cave.  ‘Nuf said.

  2. I am amazed that the show lasted as long as it did. However, in this day an age of REALITY TV, I suppose I’m not entirly surprised.

Now if we could just get rid of the rest of them… Probably won’t happen.

I’m just waiting for the day that “America’s Most Funniest Video’s” meet “Faces of Death”. That will be a high rating reality show!

  3. I hate this show and I was REALLY peeved when the SciFi Channel added it to its schedule. Some people must have “CON ME” printed above their eyebrows in glowing neon paint. Sometimes it’s damn lonely being a skeptic!

  4. Sweet! Not sure if they have enough of the episodes from that story to make a complete show, but it would be great if they did.

  5. Funny that, especially considering he’s coming here to Australia for his “Afterlife Tour”.

Australia is always so far behind the states when it comes to television and such. I wonder if the promoters know his show has been canned?  Help the suckers that actually pay $85 per ticket to see him.
