Spherewide Short Story Symposium, The Second

Forgot to mention this when I got the first email, but Michael Williams is holding the second Spherewide Short Story Symposium for those folks interested in participating.

Same general guidelines as last time: write a fictional short story, post it to your blog, and send me the link. Halloween is just around the corner, and I think it’d be fun for everyone to write a scary/thrilling/creepy/eerie story in honor of the occasion. Send the stories and links to me by Tuesday, October 28th, and I’ll publish the Symposium on Friday, October 31st. As always, I won’t be too picky—if you don’t want to write a scary story, that’s fine; however the muse strikes you.

I’ve been kicking around an idea for a short story related to Halloween the past couple of days anyway so perhaps I’ll get this one done in time to participate. You can check out the entries from the first Symposium here.

  1. Unfortuantely I have a very short attention span so will probably not be submitting any stories…no matter how short. If anyone knows of some project which allows you to submit a paragraph into an ongoing story project let me know. I am good for a couple of sentences.
