“I come from a different generation from my dad.” - George W. Bush

Came across Dubya Speak.com from Mad Kane’s blog and I wasn’t sure whether to laugh or to cry. To be sure, reading Georgie’s quotes can be a laugh riot as long as you don’t stop to think about the fact that he’s currently running the largest super power on the planet and making decisions that are slowly eroding our civil rights. The saddest part is that Georgie even takes pride in his lack of linguistic facility by pointing out that there’s at least one book of Bush-isms available.

Among the gems to be found are quotes like:

I’m sorry the room is so small. I suspect we could have accommodated a lot more people if we had a bigger room.

I tell Vladimir all the time—I mean, Mr. President all the time—that Russia’s most precious resource is the brain power of this country. And you’ve got a lot of it. It’s going to take a lot of brains in Russia to create a drain.

He’d make a wonderful late-night talk show host, wouldn’t he? Our only hope is that he’s dumb enough to not be able to find the big red button or know how to operate it properly if he does. Anyhow, check out the site for yourself as it’s very educationable.
