Here’s something that’ll probably leave our overseas SEB regulars scratching their heads in confusion. It’s a revelation on the tax spending priorities of the Republicans in the House of Representatives. See if you can explain this to me:

That’s a pretty powerful ad from the folks at the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers and it’s a shame it’s not all over the airwaves. There’s a lot of people out there who could do with a good reminding right about now.

So we had a bit of excitement here in Michigan over the weekend thanks to the FBI taking down a Christian terrorist group that was plotting to kill a cop and then bomb his funeral in hopes of starting an uprising that would overthrow the government:
For all the bitching Democrats did whenever President Bush and the Republicans forced something through Congress during the eight years he was in office, I don’t recall them ever resorting to intentionally grinding the government to a halt when they didn’t get their way:
