Yesterday was the three year anniversary of my marriage to Anne. It’s funny how it doesn’t seem that long ago and at the same time feels like we’ve been married a lot longer than that. Our marriage isn’t without its challenges and we’ve hit our share of bumps along the way, but I wouldn’t trade it for the world. I’m truly lucky she’s a part of my life.
Anne came up to my job yesterday so we could go out to lunch together, she brought me three roses to pin to my shirt, and I ended up taking the rest of the day off so we could go hang out at The Henry Ford museum. Then later we went out for a nice family dinner at Baker’s Square. Nothing too fancy, but we had a good time just spending time with each other.
Happy anniversary to my sweetheart. I’m looking forward to many more yet to come.
