The site God Hates Shrimp got me to chuckle a little.
Naturally the first thing that will be pointed out is the fact that both cited passages are in the OT and thusly overruled by the NT except for those passages in the OT, such as the Ten Commandments, which aren’t overruled by the NT for reasons that aren’t all that clear.
Anyone else get the feeling that Christians just pick and choose what parts of the OT they want to consider as being overruled by the NT as it fits their needs? Yeah, me too.
