What Ware is saying is pretty stupid, but to me he doesn’t seem to be say that men should beat their wives to regain authority. Rather he’s lamenting that women are not being submissive, therefore leading men to misbehave by either being passive or abusive. He’s an ass, but he’s not endorsing spousal abuse.

He does stop short of endorsing violence, but he’s certainly blaming the victim. If women were properly submissive the way they’re supposed to be and not challenge their husband’s authority, they wouldn’t get themselves punched. Or drive some poor men into pussyhood.

Most of us pay better attention in Taekwando class, but I s’pose there’re always the slow learners… Usually it’s the boys who walk in thinking they know everything after a couple Chow Yun-Fat movies.  Hooo--and you thought whacking Creationist trolls was like shooting fish in a barrel…

I use to take Taekwando classes cause I got my ass kicked quite a bit as a child. It was my mother’s idea, I wasn’t all that keen on it at first. Made it to 7 geup yellow-green belt before giving it up because I’d gotten big enough that the assholes who used to beat on me thought twice about doing it anymore.

Never had to put it into practice, but it was fun learning about at the time.
