In no particular order:
- Stayed home from work yesterday due to a seriously upset tummy. Slept half the day and spent the other half playing Half-Life 2.
- I’m feeling much better today, thank you.
- Speaking of HL2, I was surprised that Amazon managed to get it delivered to me just one day after it was released. I didn’t think I’d get it until Friday at the earliest.
- I didn’t think I’d get it yesterday because the first Amazon delivery I received wasn’t for HL2, but ended up being a copy of PVP Online At Large and Mannheim Steamroller Christmas Celebration as thank yous from John Hoke.
- I also wanted to mention that I received a copy of Freethinkers: A History of American Secularism from someone who’s name I haven’t been able to associate with their username as of yet. In case they’d rather I not mention them by name I’ll just say thanks for the book and I’m enjoying it very much.
- Colin Powell has put in his resignation thus removing the single member of the Bush administration that I had any respect for.
- So far Half-Life 2 simply rocks. It shares the same physics engine as DOOM 3, but actually manages to make it a part of the game instead of just fancy window dressing that has no real impact on game play. I spent twenty minutes yesterday just playing with the gravity gun once I got it to see what I could and couldn’t pick up with it and what happens when you throw said items at other items such as soft-squishy people and zombies.
- Buzz saw blades, zombies, and a gravity gun combine to create hours of amusement.
- I am so jonesing for some good eggnog.
- OK, I think I’m done with this entry.
- Yeah, I’m done.

Lol, I really hope Amazon UK pulls through with MY copy tomorrow. Now I’ll be off (literally) to instal my new Radeon 9800 Pro so I can enjoy the goodness when it finally arrives.
