Wicked cool Bender case mod.

I love case mods and the more outrageous the better. It’s been awhile since I last wrote about one and this one is so cool that it’s time to visit the topic again. A guy by the name of Jan Erik Vangen in Norway decided he wanted a life size model of Bender from the cartoon series Futurama for a PC case and so he sat down and built one. Not only is he a fully functioning PC system, but his eyes light up and he has a button that makes him say “bite my shiny metal ass” whenever you press it. Now if only he had a button that would make him shit a brick just like he did in one episode he’d be perfect.

He shit a brick in two episodes, actually. The second time, it was quite an impressive pile of bricks.

I know, I know. I have no life.

Futurama is an awsome show. I have only seen it a few times but it was very funny and bender was the best.

my favourite thing about bender is he was able to pull anything out of his chest and stuff ten times more back in.

That is the single best thing I’ve seen all week.

Does it sing folk songs when you put a magnet on it, or say “oooooh yeeeaaah!“ when he’s jacking on (consuming electricity)?

If you want to talk about no life I know that the first episode he shit a brick in was the very first one titled “Space Pilot 3000” when the job deserters Fry, Lela, and Bender were about to flee the Peace Officers in Farnsworth’s ship. The pile of bricks I do not recall, and I have watched the entire series maybe a dozen times. Sounds likely that it happened but I can’t place it right now.

I remember one episode where bender gets hit by a meteor as he floats through space. He then becomes god over a load of little people. Then they find his nuclar fuel in his ass. The little people manage to get into a nuclear war. That, I think, is the best of the futurama episodes I have seen.

Me too (“Godfellas”).  I was particularly surprised at the rather profound ending—I kept waiting for the punchline.

When you do things right, people won’t be sure you’ve done anything at all.

All I remember was the three of them standing at a gate in a chain-link fence at the entrance to an alley.

Something happens and ‘plop’... ‘plop plop plop’... ‘plopplopplopplopplop’. Out come a pile of bricks.

I’ve got all of the DVDs. Looks like it’s time to watch them all again.

I would pay big bucks for a case mod like this. That is too cool.
