I couldn’t help but notice that number of invites I have for Gmail accounts recently doubled in number. Most of the time it sits around the 50 mark, but the other day it jumped to 100. So if any you folks want a Gmail account then all you need to do is ask and provide an email address for me to mail it to. Don’t know if there’s that many people still looking to get into Gmail, but here’s your chance if you are.

I have been trawling the net for about an hour now looking for the means to grab a gmail account! You are my last hope as I’ve had enough of reading through list upon list of search engine results!!

You have to be in the US to get one of these by SMS, so no luck when you live in the shaddow of the Eiffel Tower. It would be great if you could send me an invitation, assuming you have some left.

Actually Philippe, I had tried twice before with two different SMS capable phones in the US and never got the invite from Google. Seems to be a randomly successful thing.
