Hairboy dropped me a note to let me know that one of my favorite Christmas stories is being made into a feature film. The Polar Express is a children’s book that tells the story of one young boy’s opportunity to visit Santa’s workshop at the North Pole. It’s a wonderful story, but still somewhat on the short side so I’m left wondering how well it can be adapted to film. I guess I’ll find out in 2004 when the film will hit theaters with Tom Hanks playing the Conductor according to this article at Cinescape.
