I was a bit cranky yesterday as you could probably tell from the one entry I had time to make. Today was much better. Got to sleep in and when I woke up I got to pretend that I had been in bed for an hour less than I really was as I went about the house setting back all the clocks. Then I went out to the local Gamestop and traded in some older Playstation titles to help offset the remaining balance on my upcoming copy of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. Some of the games were pretty old, including the first one I ever bought for my original PS1, so I only knocked about 11 bucks off of what I had left to pay, but that brought my final charge down to 11 and some change so I can’t complain. The folks at GS called me at work on Friday to let me know they had copies in and if I wanted I could pick mine up at midnight Tuesday. So with having paid it off today I can waltz in just after midnight and pick up my copy. Then I just have to go to sleep and get up and go to work knowing that the game I’ve been waiting so long for is sitting at home untouched. If I were a religious man I’d be praying for will power right about then.
The rest of the day today was spent over at the in-laws celebrating Dad’s birthday which technically took place last Monday, but he didn’t seem to mind waiting until almost a week later to celebrate it. I couldn’t have asked for a better father-in-law so spending some time with him today was definitely worthwhile.

Soooo Did you pick it up already? And are you very tempted to call in sick? LOL I know how that is… Let me know how the game is, it looks awesome
