The snack trays are in place. The apartment has been tidied up. The Tupperware Lady has arrived. I remove myself to the back bedroom and the glowing comfort of my computer’s CRT for fear of the possible loss of my immortal soul to the wonderous temptation that is the handy cake carrier.
