I just had to share this picture with all of you folks but I couldn’t find a place to put oddball pictures with no particular subject. So, let’s start a generic funny picture thread right here. If you have a picture to share then go store it on ImageShack or some other image hosting site and post it here! If you don’t know how to post a picture then see the “Generic SEB Tips” section below.

I’ll start the fun with…

Sorry, I’m still cracking up over this one.

That’s from that one website with the shirts on it, isn’t it?

I recall seeing a photograph of Dale Earnhardt jr. wearing a shirt with a guy thinking “Dude, WTF?” That was funny.

Another funny thing, though not funny ha-ha, more like funny weird.

The release date of the new Harry Potter book: Feb. 28th 2010.

You read that right.

This one startled me so I had to do some quick research. It’s incorrect. There is no official release date announced yet, the announcement of the date is scheduled for January and unofficial word is late 2005, early 2006. I can only assume that Amazon’s layout needed some sort of date in that slot and they just plunked in a hypohetical future date to get the page up or put in a far future date as a joke to see how many fans would panic.

Oh man, generic funny picture thread eh?  I could easily post 10-20, but I’m not gonna inflict that on the site. Instead I shall probably simply put up some of my favorite on a page on my site and provide a link at a later time. I say later because at the moment I’m attempting to make my way (the key word being “attempting”, thought “inching” is probably a more appropriate replacement for that phrase) through a 3000 word paper for one of my classes…

Amazon’s predictive powers go far beyond just guessing release dates. They already have a final page count for George R. R. Martin’s next novel in the A Song of Ice and Fire series, A Feast for Crows. Now, of course, Mr. Martin is not even finished writing the book yet, but Amazon.com knows it will be 704 pages of fantasy goodness! rolleyes

Les, if you get a chance could you please replace my SEB tips above with this one and then delete this message? That server seems to go down a lot. Thanks.

Not a funny picture as such, but for any Runescape players- do the balding bearded dwarves remind you of anyone…
