Since posting Rose’s entry on her spirit encounters we here at SEB have been flooded with pictures from various believers in the paranormal seeking to prove the existence of ghosts. All of which I laughed off until some SEB regulars started sending pics my way. These shocking pics from long-time SEB reader Serge seem to bear out Rose’s claims after all:

GASP! IT’S TRUE! THERE ARE SPIRITS EVERYWHERE! Naturally this sudden revelation spurred me to dig through my own pictures to see if perhaps there was any evidence of paranormal activity I managed to capture by accident without realizing it. Sure enough I managed to find a picture Anne took of me here in the apartment that appears to have a ghostly figure in the background! LOOK! LOOK AT THIS STUNNING PROOF OF LIFE AFTER DEATH!!!

Click for a bigger pic!

Yep! I’m a true believer now! How could I have missed all this paranormal activity before? All it takes is a good bump to the head with a heavy hammer and I’m seeing ALL SORTS OF GHOSTS NOW!!!

Les,

The figure in the background of your picture looks like Obi Wan Kenobi.  This proves that Jedi exist as well!  Now my childhood dreams can come true!  I always wanted to be a Jedi!

Sure there are ghosts. Just like there is a Tooth Fairy, Santa Claus, etc. -rolls eyes- When will these people ever learn?

Oh, forgot to mention, Serge’s picture is just smoke. And that is quite obvious. The only spirits I believe in reside in those nice bottles at the liquor store.

I always assumed he wore that shirt to scare the ghost away.

Who you gonna call?
FASHION BUSTERS!

Sorry Les, I couldn’t resist and even worse, I’m aware that’s one of your favorite shirts.

Hey Brock- I was going to welcome you back, but after that unspeakably tactless remark about Les’s lovely shirt I’m not sure what to say, except that you obviously have no idea about what’s too cool for school.

Suggested lyrics for the site theme song Spirits all around us:

We feel it in our fingers, we feel it in our toes
The spirits all around us and the feeling grows
It’s written on the wind, it’s everywhere we go
So if you believe, come on and let it show

You know we believe we always will
Our mind’s made up by the way that we feel
There’s no beginning, there’ll be no end
‘Cause on the spirits we can depend

It’s written on the wind, it’s everywhere we go
So if you believe, come on and let it show
Come on and let it show

Channel written by the spirit of Wet, Wet, Wet.

Regards,

Ahhh Zilch, cut me some slack G

Les will know I’m kidding when he reads it. I’d give that man the shirt off my back if he wanted or needed it. I’m pretty sure he’d be happy with one of mine too cause I’ve got a couple in the closet.....Man, I’d better let them out or they’re gonna starve to death, and then they’ll be dictating spirits too!

By the way, is that a picture of the baby Jesus pinned to the wall, Les? Doesn’t that deserve a frame?

Brock’s just jealous of my seriously cool Hawaiian shirt collection.

Consi, that’s a pretty good theme song. I’ll have to keep it in mind. grin

Jynxed, what do you mean it’s just smoke?!? Your excuses won’t work for me. I know what I’ve experienced and you have to believe in order for it to happen you!

Oh man, I’ve got to stop, my face is starting to hurt from the effort of trying to keep it straight while I’m typing all of this.

Les, are you telling us you can’t smile and type at the same time? Hmmm.  You’d better give me that shirt- you don’t deserve it.

Brock- you have Hawaiian shirts too? Send me them.

Consi- do you have any Hawaiian shirts?

Collection as in > You have more than one of those?

This is probably as good a time as any to mention my super hero costume collection. Why? Because those guys know how to dress. Who else can wear purple and yellow together and still be respected?

I have a photo that distinctly shows the outline of a 7 ft. tall Easter Bunny with me when I was about 6 years old.  It was at my home and there was NO 7 ft. tall Easter Bunny in the room when the photo was taken.  Think it was a ghost????  OH NO!  The Easter Bunny is dead???

Les, how come you didn’t publish the one picture that shows the actual core engine of the “spirits producer”......The secret.

The JynXeD, No it’s not smoke, it’s not, it’s not.
Have you seen Rose’s pictures? They are much better. And there is poetry too.

Brandi, It took me a good 3 minutes to get those spirits on camera so I would appreciate it a lot if you and some others start believing right now!

Please…

That T-Shirt is way cool, Les. And in a pinch, it will probably double as camouflage gear.

Sorry Les, photos of the paranormal must be accompanied by short poems and little diatribes about belief and the afterlife and cigarette smoke and horny cats if they are to be taken seriously.

On the upside, I do like your shirt.

I see these kinds of spirits all the time--they always seem to appear after a good bong hit!
