NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! 

Ok, being stuck here in the crappy state of MD, we don’t get the BBC (1/2 hour every night on one PBS station doesn’t cut it) so I am COMPLETELY behind my family and friends up north (NY/CAN) who do get timely installments of Dr. Who.  They were on season two, while I just finished up one on the SciFi channel.  ARGH! 

Although Tom Baker was my favorite Dr Who, I am going to have to go out on a limb here and say, that Chris Eccelston is my NEW favorite Dr Who (I know, its sacrillage).  And Billie Piper plays the absolute BEST female side kick/traviling companion/assistant ever!  How can the BBC take away two of the best Dr. Who actors so soon (when I went over a decade with crap)?  *sigh* Figures.  And yes I do realize that it is the actors/actress choice and not necessarily the BBC’s.  It still fucking succks.

I stopped watching after Tom Baker until tonite when I saw the first episode in a series (dunno which) starring David Tennant and Billie Piper.
It was quite enjoyable and had a ‘story’ in one episode.
I don’t usually like ‘series’ as you gotta watch them all or else you lose the plot.
The music has become a little more modern since it first ventured into the ether in 63.
I’ll watch it again next week.

Her replacement has been named as Freema Agyeman, who appeared in Army of Ghosts playing an entirely different character.

It would be almost impossible to replace Rose.
But when I heard it was someone who had been in one of the episodes, Oh how I wished that it was the lady that played Madame Du Pompadore, I think my dad liked her too!
She was amazing and would have been the most wonderful assistant!
By the way my dad keeps telling me about when he used to watch Dr Who as a child and says that there were things called “The Yetti’s!”
Is he making it up?
Oh by the way if the new assistant needs a 9 year old assistant now and again, then I am happy to help!!!

Nope, he’s not making it up. The Second Doctor (Patrick Troughton) went up against the Yetis twice in the episodes The Abominable Snowmen and The Web of Fear. A Yeti also makes a brief appearance during the 20th Anniversary show The Five Doctors.

I do not appreiate that Rose Tyler is gone, I absloutley love the ending, no actually infact I hate it because its so sad lol…

Basically what happend was, During the war of Cybermen and Daleks, The Doctor, Rose, Mickey, and Rose’s mother meet up with Rose’s father from a different universe, Doctor, however must say that Rose and her little family there must go to the universe to keep safe. Rose refuses but Doctor puts the transfer neck thing around her anyway and off they go (not the doctor) to the universe. I forgot, but somehow Rose comes back with the Doctor, If Rose stay’s with the doctor she can never go back to her family as the door to that universe would close, forever. Doctor and Rose open up a very large white hole in the wall to suck up the Daleks and Cybermen, Rose can’t hold on much longer as she lets go, she is about to get sucked in but her good old father comes in, in the last second and transfers her back to the different world, she can never go back to the real earth, that means NO DOCTOR. As Rose slides to the floor crying like she has never cried before. Rose keeps telling her family she has these dreams someone is calling her name, she thinks its the doctor, she says the voice says they will go to the North (somewhere) to find whatever is out there. They finally get there, and there is a hologram of The Doctor. “You can’t touch me, I’m just an image, if you do the two worlds will collapse.” The Doctor has 2 minutes to have a good bye bye to her before they can never be together again, Rose still crying her eyes out, says the words. “I love you”. The Doctor replies: “Well since I can never seem to see you again.. Rose Tyler, I...” He disapears as his time has run out.... Now, really could’nt you make that less sad?!!!! I started crying a bit to, I mean someone you’ve been with for a heck of a long time and you can never say I love you to them ever again in your life?! A bit sad dont you think?!   And I dont like Martha, she seems bossy, she asks to many questions, actually I really wanted to see the Doctor and Rose Kiss, they did really but that was a transfer, since Rose looked into the heart of the Tardoise. I really wanted to see them have a good life together, not travelling, well yes travelling but just together, the two of em, grr I wanted them to admire each other
