How’d they do it? Was it telekinesis? Mind control? Magnetic manipulation? No! All it took was to call in and report a “vision” that indicated a bomb was on American Airlines Flight 1304 to keep the plane from leaving the ground.

The purported psychic’s call was “unusual,“ conceded Doug Perkins, local administrator for the federal Transportation Security Administration director.
“But in these times, we can’t ignore anything. We want to take the appropriate measures,“ he said.
It says something about how much of an impact 9/11 has had on us that we’re even willing to take the claims of so-called psychics seriously enough to keep a plane grounded while we look for non-existent bombs. It also seems like you can get away with calling in phony bomb tips as long as you claim you got the info through a psychic vision.
Either way, I bet the passengers on that flight are just thrilled with that psychic at the moment.

Psychics are very tenuously connected with reality anyway. This senario wouldn’t surprise me:
“Hi. Psychic Margo here. I sense a bomb on flight 123”.
“Yeah, whatever you say loonie.“
Plane takes off, and conveniently explodes because of the bomb Psychic Margo planted.
“See how powerful I am. I predicted that and they ignored me! Here’s the recorded call…“ cries Margo… and immediately becomes wealthy.
I can’t blame them for taking it seriously.
