The folks over at PC World Magazine’s website have an entry up about 101 Fabulous Freebies that you might want to bookmark. It’s a listing of free software and services you may find useful.

Included are the standard freebies such as the Mozilla Firefox browser and Thunderbird email client along with free anti-virus tool Avast Home Edition and many other things I’ve talked about here on SEB, but there’s plenty of new gems to be discovered as well. Goodies such as Celestia, a free space simulation that lets you explore our universe in three dimensions, and Pandora where you enter the name of an artist or song that you like and Pandora creates a custom “radio station” for you. Well worth checking out to see if there’s any goodies you’ve overlooked.

The problem with Pandora is how little music they have.

Several of my favorites (Preston Reed, Mors Syphilitica) aren’t on there.

It’s cool for the most part though.
