Nothing brings joy like the purchase of a new toy.

Here’s something I can comment about right now. I have a new toy to play with and I’m delighted. It’s a Kodak DC2300 Digital Camera, my first official digital camera. It’s your no-frills bare bones basic point and click model that won’t come close to winning me any photo journalism awards, but that’s okay because (A) it was only $60 and (B) I’m not a photo journalist. I’ve noticed that a lot of other blogs out there have photography mixed in with their daily observations so I figured I should get myself a camera and see what amaturish stuff I could come up with. If nothing else, it should prove interesting…
