The folks over at Mozilla are offering up the latest version of their stand-alone email client, Thunderbird, along with a brand-spanking new logo. This new build is based off of the 1.7 branch of Mozilla. The list of improvements is modest, but welcomed just the same. It’s still probably the best stand-alone email client out there right now.

There is quite a big new feature for Mac users, in that, like Firefox, it has a native theme that matches in with Firefox. It’s mostly a bugfix and minor tweak release.
