Line Between Pat Robertson and G-d Grown Cold?

One thing about Pat Robertson that makes him so memorable (besides an amazing ability leg press a ton) is his supposed direct line to God.  I mean, G-d supposedly tells him when hurricanes are coming, and also supposedly listens to his prayers to avert hurriances.  Apparently, Pat and G-d are pretty good buddies.  You can understand the surprise, then, that G-d didn’t let his best friend in on His secret to crash a plane owned by Robertson and kill the two pilots.  Maybe they had an argument and aren’t on speaking terms anymore?

[BUT] All three passengers escaped without serious injury.

Bloody god, eh? He’s a tricky one.
I wonder if Pat will say the pilots were bastards and deserved to die, or ...
On the other hand – there’s good money in religion if you play it right.
I somehow doubt that many of us here could afford a Lear Jet 35 which, based on a usage of 200 hours annually, costs over $400k/year to run.
At a quick glance I found a used one for sale at $1.5 million.
Yep. There’s good money to be made in religion.
You don’t even have to prove that which you are selling even exists.
You’re selling ‘invisibility’, myths and dreams. Wow. LOL

I think Pat might say something like this:
“I couldn’t believe it!  But God told me my two pilots, up there in the air, decided to ‘experiment’ with homosexual acts!  Even though they had been saved!  Nestled in the heart of the church, some devil had gotten to them, some foulness in the secular media, like ‘Will and Grace’, had convinced them to engage in depravity in midair.  And to keep such satanic influence out of this ministry, God shoved that plane down into the ground!  I can only pray that as they went down, they found the love of Jesus in their hearts, repented their sins, though apparently not in time to save the plane.  A terrible tragedy, and my heart goes out to their families.”

Well it was certainly a miracle of Bog that the three passengers were not harmed.  rolleyes  They were under His divine protection! (squints, prays on TV, and lifts a buick with his legs)

Subtel Censorship?  Or just non-techy coding?”

Anyone else notice that when a new comment is added, the article doesn’t recognize it (via number of comments *or* the listed names of comments) ?  Clear your cache even!  Why, reboot too!  Still, the article doesn’t reflect the new comment.

Only the sidebar
(how subtle...or just a americani-techy “mistake”?)

Is this a subtle form of censorship ("my blog!my blog!dammit!) or just techy miscoding/incompetence?

(Awaiting rhetorical dance. Awaitin hard...)

Beware the beast man, for he is the Devil’s pawn. Alone among God’s primates, he kills for sport or lust or greed. Yea, he will murder his brother to possess his brother’s land. Let him not breed in great numbers, for he will make a desert of his home, and yours. Shun him, for he is the harbinger of death.

When I first saw this news article the other day, I got excited!!!  Headline read: “Pat Robertsons plane went down!” And then I read: “Mr. Robertson was not aboard.”
Damn!  Grrrr.
