I loves me some Keith Olbermann:

I’m beginning to think I may have to write in Olbermann’s name in the upcoming election for President.

I think I agree with you Les, Keith Oberman should be the next president.  You didn’t see the other part of the interview when he was asked to do his impression of Dr. Evil from Austin Powers.  That in itself is scary....sometimes Dubya looks like him.

He would certainly be a better choice than the three losers up for the seat right now.

Beware the beast man, for he is the Devil’s pawn. Alone among God’s primates, he kills for sport or lust or greed. Yea, he will murder his brother to possess his brother’s land. Let him not breed in great numbers, for he will make a desert of his home, and yours. Shun him, for he is the harbinger of death.

And then there’s Bush’s ignorant speech yesterday in Israel that almost seems like he intended to highlight the very stupidity that Olbermann ranted about.

I’m no fan of Chris Matthews, but I was tickled to see his smackdown of one of those yelping morons on his show yesterday.

Wow! He was hardly holding himself together at the end there.  The whole golf thing was mentioned on Radio 4s ‘News Quiz’
“He got confused- He’s heard there have been a lot of casualties in the Golf”
“It’s the bunkers- the sand gave him flash backs”

Now I’m sure some-one will come on here and sneer at liberals, lefties and the rest of the world, but Bush is a figure of fun, something to be pointed at and laughed at, and no ranting is going to change that.

A figure of fun?  I’m not laughing.  People are acting as if he’s already out of the Whitehouse and can’t hurt us anymore, but I won’t take an easy breath until he is finally walking out the door for the last time along with all his pals.  He’s still got his finger on the trigger with regard to Iran, and has plenty of time to pull it if he gets itchy.  Whoever takes his place is going to have a LOT of house cleaning to do.  Unless congress gets it’s act together and starts overriding some veto’s, it’s going to take a new administration to fix ANYTHING that moron has broken.

And no, I wouldn’t write in Olbermann and vote for him for president.  We need him right where he is.  Sending him to DC would be a demotion.

Check out the history of wars - most have been started to help in times of financial woes. Has anyone noticed any of those yet??? Maybe he will start it while still in office, so the next pres isn’t demonized so much. Food for thought.  wink

Yeah, that one was a home run.  I was expecting to see the monitor to start smoldering before the end of it.

But I gotta agree with Swordsbane.  If that @#$%^wit is so very divorced from reality--and immune, as he has been all his life--to the consequences of his actions, there’s nothing stopping him from pulling the trigger.
