Okay, Don, my patience is gone. You’re an unpleasant little toad of a creature that deserves no sympathy at all. Fuck you, fuck your mother, fuck your dog, fuck anyone who’s ever been nice to you.

Don:

Your poetry is awesome, KPatrickGlover I am making a mental note of it. So what do you have to teach? What is valuable in your example of living?

I was accused of being off topic, and you cannot get on the net and come up with one valid response? HA, I every thing said stand.

You re just one of these bullies that have no sense at all, oh yeah you chuck dirt round, look as if you have substance, but the fact is:

CAN you define a cult?

I want to say to you, KPatrickGlover, put up or shut up, but this is a free board, and let the audience judge, I love a trial by jury of their peers, I want to see the level of intellect.

Subscribing to this thread - don’t want to miss another brilliant syllable from the keyboard of that genius, Don.

You rock, Don!  And I mean that sincerely.  (or is it, “You are a rock.” No wait, that isn’t it.  Maybe; “you are as dumb as a ...")

sigh. Like beating my head on a fucking brick wall, I tell ya, sometimes I don’t know why I even bother to get out of bed. Christ.

For some reason known only to him, Don asked:

CAN you define a cult?

Will it shut you up? Okay, here we go.

In popular usage, a cult is any religous group deemed to be obviously false or extremist. Often shunned and usually led by a charismatic kook like Koresh or Jim Jones. Most often the membership of such a group is small, which leads to the second usage of the word, which is a work of art that gathers a small but loyal following. Most often associated with film and TV.

Now, fuck off, you simple minded git.

Don:

I read your post, mailto:brock

So why don’t you post one thing to back yourself up in legitimate law as to the topic of cults? HOW do you break a cult? What is a cult?

You do not have Jack Shit to say for squat, piss, and fuck,

(I am leaning poetry from KPatrickGlover) he is my mentor.

I, Don, I cannot in good conscience let this go, KPatrickGlover.

That is your own piss ass opinion, and you know what, you have No authority, not by my say so, but by every law THAT YOU, refuse to read.

If you do not have legal backing, then you do not have SHIT. What am I going to do, KPatrickGlover, quote YOU. Oh, that is very nice, though I love you as much, as I have peers also. You have to do better KatrickGlover, and shorten gd your name.

I think he’s trying to say that “Jesus Camp” is a cult but what he plans to do about it, I have no idea.

HOW do you break a cult?

One way is to make it illegal to instruct children in this manner.

What is a cult?

In my mind, a cult is a crutch that you use to hobble through life. You don’t really need one but you use it anyway.

But that’s just my Jack Shit* opinion.

I can take that definition of a “cult” that KPatrickGlover gave, an that was good, and I can drive a Mack Tuck and a dozens trains through it and never miss a lick.

What he gave is a common definition, so what, we have multi-cultural sects that will disagree on every point and I do not have to say a word.

But I give credit to KPatrickGlover, that is a good definition, now if he can find backing, more than I have, he can make a point.

Let’s work our way backwards through Don’s latest outburst.

You have to do better KPatrickGlover, and shorten gd your name.

Fuck you, it’s my name asshole, not yours. And by the way, it’s my ACTUAL name. I’m not throwing out random dumbass opinions under the online annonymity of a handle like “Don.”

If you do not have legal backing, then you do not have SHIT.

Sorry, fuckhead, but wrong again. The law has fuck all to do with language. Definitions are decided on by scholars and linguists, not lawyers and courts.

That is your own piss ass opinion, and you know what, you have No authority

Sure it’s an opinion, that’s what you asked for. You asked for me to define the word cult. It’s not a piss ass opinion, it’s an informed one. As a writer, language is kind of my thing, you know. And guess what, I defind it properly. Want some verification, you anal little shit?

Let’s see…

cult (klt)
n.

1.
1. A religion or religious sect generally considered to be extremist or false, with its followers often living in an unconventional manner under the guidance of an authoritarian, charismatic leader.
2. The followers of such a religion or sect.
2. A system or community of religious worship and ritual.
3. The formal means of expressing religious reverence; religious ceremony and ritual.
4. A usually nonscientific method or regimen claimed by its originator to have exclusive or exceptional power in curing a particular disease.
5.
1. Obsessive, especially faddish, devotion to or veneration for a person, principle, or thing.
2. The object of such devotion.
6. An exclusive group of persons sharing an esoteric, usually artistic or intellectual interest.

The American Heritage® Dictionary of the English Language, Fourth Edition

So, how do YOU define cult, you silly little shit.

Much like many a Greek sailor to the song of the Sirens, I find myself unable to resist the lure of this thread. Don, I know you will never realize it, but you can pretty much be summed up by this little statement that you attempted to type:

HA, I every thing said stand.

Arrogance, misundertanding, and pitiful grammar all in one “sentence.” Are you channeling Yoda? Or are you attempting to speak backwards, like the dwarf from Twin Peaks?

Now I am officially done with you. Like Odysseus and his men, I will metaphorically tie myself to the mast of my ship and force myself to resist. In your own words, I relent. Besides, according to you I have no formal education and my name is “Sally.”

By the way, you owe me a new set of ribs on account of the fact that I’ve cracked mine laughing at your replies to Don. Then again, I find Don unintentionally hilarious as well--I very nearly pissed myself after he called me “Sexy Sally.” LOL

Math for morons: Tied to a mast=good.  Unless it’s similar to Cher’s version of a sailor in her “If I could turn back time” video, sailor’s attire=bad.

You said Brock:

“In my mind, a cult is a crutch that you use to hobble through life. You don’t really need one but you use it anyway. But that’s just my Jack Shit* opinion.”

Don:

Yeah, I can see that, a crutch in life, that is a child becoming an adult? YEAH, be independent, needing nothing but yourself.  However, unfortunately nothing you said is enforceable by statute, other than Torts. Let us not neglect torts, as that is a real ass kicker.

The object of the State is to control people, and all means to that end. So, without the precise mean of words, to say a few like: cult, religion, god, how am I to know?

I am a common person wanting with all my heart to comply with the authority of the State; now define to me, what am I do, and how do you define your words? Or is cults something I should do not do? Then define cult. How would I know?

DO NOT GIVE ME BS!

Sorry Don, there’s an old computer geek saying, garbage in garbage out.

I am a common person wanting with all my heart to comply with the authority of the State; now define to me, what am I do, and how do you define your words? Or is cults something I should do not do? Then define cult. How would I know?

Wow, I didn’t think it was possible to fit that much crap into a single paragraph. Way to go, needle dick. To begin with, why are you so desperate to comply with “The State.” Question authority, stupid. Do you want to end up in some awful, distopian future with John Hurt? And “cult” has already been defined for you, twice.

However, unfortunately nothing you said is enforceable by statute, other than Torts. Let us not neglect torts, as that is a real ass kicker.

Your life does not have to be enforced by statute. What is it with you, anyway? Life is not ABOUT the law. The law is only there for when someone wanders outside what society deems to be acceptable. It doesn’t care what color crayon you use as long as you color within the lines.

And what’s up with this Tort fetish of yours, anyway? Tort, tort, tort, christ, you must spend all your free time watching L.A. Law re-runs or something.

You rode the short bus to school, didn’t you, Don?

The 7 words you’re talking about are from the FCC v. Pacifica Foundation case and delt with a Carlin monologue about dirty words. The case had ABSO-FUCKING-LUTELY NOTHING to do with defining the words involved. The words were all well defined before the monologue was ever written. Instead, it was about what is considered inappropriate to say over public airwaves.

Any other misconceptions you need corrected for you, bubba?

Well it is not over till the fat lady sings, so keep on as you are, and see where you go.

I’m endorsing the rule of LAW, what do you have as backing with teeth?

NO, I am NOT a NARK, or what ever that acronym is. I’m NOT a GD government agent, I just LOVE law as a common person, so bring on your augments.

OH god DAM IT: it is the KBG, OK, OK, you win. I never thought that 24 letters with caps, and ALL in between, that makes over 450,000 plus words, and I should memorizes every one, and all the words to come, invented, with all the punctuations, grammar, and moods.

I’m working on it OK! I respect you to do the same in Law.

Dude, if you DIDN’T know that the 7 words case was about George Carlin, that’s even funnier.

I, Don, asked for YOUR legal backing with authority, you never gave it, you refused to do time and effort on your part, you refuse to do your home work.

What the FUCK are you talking about, Don? Legal backing for WHAT? You ask for a definition, I give you one. You want it backed up, I show you the definition in the fucking dictionary. I tell you that the LAW has nothing to do with defining words, you cite a case that has nothing to do with defining words, I point that out and “I” didn’t do my homework?

There’s something seriously wrong with your head, you little schmuck.

I’m endorsing the rule of LAW, what do you have as backing with teeth?

Uh, the American Heritage Dictionary and the 1978 Supreme Court ruling in the FCC v. PACIFICA FOUNDATION Case.

NO, I am NOT a NARK, or what ever that acronym is. I’m NOT a GD government agent, I just LOVE law as a common person, so bring on your augments.

No worries there, Don, you’re far too stupid to be a fed, and that’s really saying something. As for my arguements, they’re in this post and the last several, you’re just choosing not to respond to them.

Simple rule, Don. If you don’t know what a word is, don’t use it. Think you know, but aren’t sure? Look it up. That’s what dictionaries are for.

I respect you to do the same in Law.

I’m no expert, but judging from your previous posts, I know a damn bit more about the law than you do.
