It’s another busy weekend for me.

Just checking in from up at Momma’s house. We had a christening to attend yesterday for my nephew Aaron followed by a small celebratory lunch after which we headed up here to Mom’s house to celebrate Dad’s birthday. We stayed the night and got to hang out with my sister and brother-in-law this morning. We were supposed to stay for dinner (my mother makes a killer lasagna), but during the christening yesterday Anne’s Uncle Mike asked us to stop by his place on our way home to help with some PC problems he’s having. He lives in Davison, which we pass through on our way to and from Mom’s place. So we’ll be leaving shortly to go there for a couple of hours. After than we’re headed down to Anne’s parents for a birthday celebration for my sister-in-law Amber.

*Whew*

I’m taking tomorrow off to go with Anne to a doctor’s appointment she has so I’m getting a four-day weekend though it doesn’t feel like it. Apparently we just missed my brother and sister-in-law when we came up yesterday as they had been up visiting in the morning. Word has it he’s thinking about building a PC so perhaps I’ll use that as a good excuse to call him up and see what he’s up to and if he wants any help. His son, my other nephew, Dakota has a birthday this week as well so we’re going to see if we can’t stop out that way for a short visit. Cindy was supposed to bring her laptop up for me to work on so she could use it to post to her blog a little more often, but she forgot to bring it. Needless to say I’m in full PC-Mr.-Fix-It mode this weekend.

As you’ve probably already noticed, Brock has accepted a position as an official Special Guest Bastard here at SEB. I think he’s off to a fine start and I look forward to his future contributions. He’s a little nervous, but I tried to explain to him it’s not too big of a deal. If SEB is any good at all it’s only because we don’t know what the hell we’re doing. We’re just happy anyone stops by to read this stuff in the first place.

OK, She Who Must Be Obeyed is calling that time is up and I need to shake a leg. More later once I get a chance to think of something interesting to say.

You got a lot of family. That’s a good thing. I’m an orphan.

Anybody read This Bill Clinton Book Spoof?
I laughed out loud. All important character from his presidency are in it. A good read.

An inarguable sign of a REALLY smart man:

“Ok, She Who Must Be Obeyed is calling that time is up and I need to shake a leg.” wink

Sounds like you had a busy weekend, Commando PC Tech!
