I get different things in channel writing because you really don’t know who you are communicating with.  If I asked them there name which I did they told me Mr. Cooper. Then I asked the age he wrote 80.  That did scare me because I do no of someone by that name and the same age.  I called him to make sure he was okay.
He was.  I was afraid he had passed on.  The next time I did it her name was susan.  There was another time that it was a child I assume she said she was 8 years old.  You can’t believe everything they say.  There’s to many negative spirits out there.  I’m still new at this and it
takes alot of practice.  Sometimes all I get is scribbling and maybe a name.  I wrote a poem on this one and it’s called A DRAWING FROM A SPIRIT.

But KPatrick is correct, no publisher is going to come anywhere near a book, even a rough draft, that doesn’t even approach a 6th grade grammer level. Mistakes are one thing, but the continual hatchet-job on grammer speaks to the intelligence of the writer. You’re not in a position to write anything for publishing.

Why do we have a attitude problem, because we’re all skeptical and are concerned that you might be mentally ill?  When I bring up psychiatric assessment I’m not trying to be insulting.  Take it the same way as someone suggesting you see a family physician if you had the sniffles.  Your experiences are similar to those reported by people undergoing psychotic episodes, you can understand my concern.

Seems we’re letting out a little pent-up frustration over sloppy online grammar and spelling here.  I often feel like dissing people for sloppiness because it’s a courtesy to others to make the effort to communicate clearly. 

But my middle son (responding to one of my verbal rants about GWB’s inability to say “nuclear") set me straight - sure it’s tempting to knock the way other people communicate but if possible it’s more productive to try and get what they’re saying and respond to that instead.

Rose, sorry, it’s unlikely you have spirits in the house.  The human mind is a pattern-seeking engine (for example, people often see faces in the clouds.) How much more we sense the presence of another when ambiguous sensory information is combined with a predisposition to believe.  But if it makes you happy to believe it, what’s the harm?  Long as you don’t fall prey to scam artists who play on your credulity.  Such lower life forms are all too common, alas.

Still, it’s clear you didn’t bother to see what this site was all about before typing up your little essay and hitting the submit button. An intelligent person might have noticed the tagline of the site that reads, and I quote, “What the fuck is wrong with you people?”

Furthermore the presence of categories such as “atheism” and “skepticism” should have been clues that this isn’t a site largely populated with believers in either the paranormal or the divine and would probably be a less-than-intelligent choice if you were hoping to receive a positive reaction to your missive.

Additionally categories such as “Stupidity in Action” and “Don’t Be That Guy” might have given someone with an IQ greater than their shoe size reason to pause and consider the possibility that they might be in for a rough time if what they’re promoting goes against the grain of the rest of the entries here.

Yes, someone who had a modicum of a clue just might have thought twice after carefully pondering all the signs present, but it would seem that you saw only the name of this blog and considered it a literal invitation to demonstrate how well it applies to you.

I don’t think so. This thread is a keeper so that anytime someone does a Google search for “Rose M. Wise” or “spirits8082@sbcglobal.net” it’ll be sure to come up as a shining example of your best work. You’ll be happy to know that the former search already returns this entry as the number 6 most relevant link and the latter one returns this entry as the number 3 link. Even if I deleted the entry it would remain in Google’s cache from here on out. Too late to do anything about it now.
