Not sure which category to file this one under, but perhaps I need to start a “Paranoia” category. The other day Solonor made a post about seeing an entry in his referral list from the International Atomic Energy Agency that has appeared several times and which appears to have downloaded major chunks of his website in much the same way that many search engines do.
Now they’re showing up in my referral log as well and, yes, they’re sucking down major bandwidth. Yet a visit to their site and an attempt to search for “Stupid Evil Bastard” in their site’s search engine returns no results at all. So why in the hell is the IAEA crawling through people’s blogs pulling down tons of data? I suppose it’s possible that whatever is spidering our sites is spoofing the name that shows up in our logs, but it still leaves me wondering what the hell is going on.
Have the Republicans started monitoring all of us bloggers with liberal tendencies already?

















I don’t think it’s just liberals, though. It’s hit a ton of others (including Michele, who’s talking more out of the right than from the left side of her mouth these days). Though she does sponsor that Banned Books thing…
