Ever have one of those weekends where you think you’re going to accomplish all sorts of stuff, but when it actually gets here all you do is lay around and watch television the same way a starving man savors a saltine cracker? Yeah, I had one of those weekends. When I was in front of the PC, which wasn’t often, I spent my time mainly playing video games. I didn’t even turn my PC on until sometime after 5PM on Sunday which is almost unheard of for me. On the plus side, I did play some of the games I’ve had for awhile and never finished on the PS2 and got a little further, but by and large I didn’t do much of anything other than vegetate. I just lacked the energy and my right thigh has been giving me problems and it was hot and a whole bunch of other excuses.
OK, I’ll stop whining now.

We had some basement flooding last month and I’ve been busting my but to clean/repair the damage. this is the first wekend I’ve had to myself in a year. The kids were all at the cabin with the grandparents and my girlfriend is working graveyard shift for 10 days so I had the whole place to myself (oh I took thursday Friday off too) YEA! I feel better than i have for so long I can’t remember and it was all about ME ME ME.
I highly recomend a weekend like this for EVERYONE!
