There are so many things wrong with this commentary by Dinesh D’Souza over at the National Review’s website that I don’t know where to begin.
Many on the political Left are blaming the leadership of the Democratic party for moving to the center, accommodating President Bush’s agenda, and thus producing the catastrophic losses of Tuesday’s election. “Let us stop playing Republican wannabe,” these leftists say, “and start standing up for something.”
These critics are right. The Democrats could improve their political fortunes by unequivocally embracing the three central principles of the political Left: anti-Americanism, economic piracy, and moral degeneracy.
It goes downhill from there. He basically equates being a Democrat as being a morally depraved kleptomaniac anti-American. Surprisingly he didn’t accuse them of being atheists. Probably forgot that part. Naturally this prick has written a book called Letters to a Young Conservative which is undoubtedly filled with even more of his venom. I can’t even begin to put into words the anger this idiot’s column raises in me.
Came across a link to this first over at a small victory where Michele has a well-written response to it.

I hate when I see crap like that; they fan the flames while remaining utterly clueless.
