Well, not much happening here in the Jenkins household to ring in the new year. Anne and I both are tired as hell and I’m debating bothering to stay up to watch the ball drop as I didn’t get to sleep until well after 8AM this morning. The events of the past few days leaves me facing the new year with much trepidation. What a way to end the year. Facing a car repair bill with no simple solution.
*Sigh* I suppose my luck’s gotta change for the better soon. Anne spent a couple dollar bills on lottery tickets just on the off-chance. Wouldn’t that be a hella way to ring in the new year? By winning the lottery? Hey, I can dream can’t I?
Anyway, if the rest of you are going out to party be sure to have a designated driver or some other plan to get home safely. Have fun, be safe, and toss one back for me. I’ll be busy snoring methinks.
