He probably just got wind of this article:
“I think President Bush is God’s man at this hour,” a top White House aide told a religious publication not long ago. Ralph Reed, the former director of the Christian Coalition who now chairs the G.O.P. in Georgia, says his fellow evangelicals believe God selected the President because “He knew George Bush had the ability to lead in this compelling way.”
If it weren’t photoshoped it would be on FOX.

Ralph Reed. What goes around comes around--we hope.
As a member of the Christian Coalition, Reed made oppostion to gambling one of the items in the coalition’s family values agenda. In the 2000 Republcan primaries Reed helped to smear John McCain during the South Carolina primary, according to The Nation.
McCain’s Indian Affairs subcommitte is investigating lobbying abuses related to Indian gambling.
But now, a broad federal investigation into lobbying abuses connected to gambling on Indian reservations has unearthed evidence that Reed has been surreptitiously working for an Indian tribe with a large casino it sought to protect--and that Reed was paid with funds laundered through two firms to try to keep his lucrative involvement secret. Reed has always operated behind the scenes, and apparently he didn’t want to risk becoming a humbled hypocrite like his right-wing cohorts William Bennett and Rush Limbaugh.
