OK, I have three invitations to Gmail for anyone who wants them on a first-come, first-served basis. I’d been holding onto them on the thought that there were people I knew that might want them, but I was wrong. So holler if you want one.

Update: All gone as of 7:36PM. Next time I get some more I’ll be sure to post a notice about it.

I have a quantity of gmail invites to dispose of, too. If you can figure out my email address, I’ll send invites first come, first served until the supply runs out.

For anybody else that’s struggling for a Gmail invite, try this site. I decided a couple of days ago that I wanted one, and within about two hours, I had more invites than I knew what to do with. Seriously, it isn’t hard. The internet is saturated with them at the moment.

I just sent you an invite. Be aware that the invitation email will likely end up in Yahoo’s spam folder rather than your inbox.

I have FIVE (5) Free Gmail Invites I am happy to part with. Please note that this is first-come, first-served. If you’re looking at this message many hours after it’s been posted, chances are the invites are GONE.

Here is the big scary catch:

Click here and sign up for an account with FreeiPods.com, and click on the Stamps.com offer. It’s free to sign up (here’s a Wired Magazine article about the site, so you know it’s not a big scam). The important thing is that you use THAT LINK so I get credit toward my free iPod. (Otherwise I won’t send you the Gmail invite!).

Once you get to FreeiPods.com through my link, here is the FASTEST and easiest way to get your Gmail invite (and maybe a free iPod of your own if you care to pursue it):

1. Enter your email address and a password. Don’t use a Hotmail address; you won’t be able to validate your account if you do. In fact, you’re better off not using any kind of major freebie email account (Yahoo, etc.), or the spam-filtering services may not let you validate your account.

2. Click “NO” for all the surveys. They’re just a waste of your time.

3. Sign up for the Stamps.com offer ONLY. DON’T sign up for any of the other offers. Why? They take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks (!) to get credited. It’s good for YOU to pick that one, because they don’t charge you anything, you’ll get your Gmail invite from me right away, and it’s easy to cancel your account (which you’ll probably want to do). Plus they’ll send you a free digital scale. It’s good for ME if you sign up for the Stamps.com offer, because then I get credit INSTANTLY. Which is also good for YOU because then I’ll send you your Gmail invite right away.

4. Make SURE you check your email for the validation link to freeipods.com, and click on it, so that your account is considered legitimate. If you didn’t receive a validation email, your spam-blocking service is probably stopping it. Turn off spam-filtering (just for five minutes or so!), and click the link under your account page to have them RE-SEND the email. If you still don’t get the email, you may have to sign up under a different email address.

5. Finally: email.

Here’s one invite, if you manage to click on it before anyone else you’ve got yourself an GMail account.
