The kid is at her aunt’s for the weekend so they can do their Christmas get-together. Anne and I have had nothing else planned for the weekend so we spent yesterday laying around the house watching TV and playing video games and doing little of any significance. Which is nice for a change.
Today we’ll be a little more productive. Going out for brunch, getting the stocking stuffers and so on. But we’ll probably spend most of the day goofing off again. Ahhh. Life is good.

This is the 1st year I actually did my holiday shopping looong before Dec 24th. It’s so nice to be able to goof off and relax when everybody else is frantically shopping and braving the herds of fellow last minute shoppers at the malls.
Us too! It’s really a good feeling… and boy are we taking advantage of it! Of course, We’re not “entertaining” at our place this year. Hence the grand laziness & all around avoiding housework is compounded. Though, we will make a grand attempt at pick up and dust off before Christmas morning. If for no other reason: to make room for more mess, toys & play:-)
