Seems the folks at Saturday Night Live managed to pull one over on the censors and the FCC with an inside joke about actor Owen Wilson’s nose. According to this article at Broadcasting & Cable.com, the pranksters at SNL turned Dennis Spade into a literal dickhead for his parody of Owen Wilson hosting a celebrity roast of Clint Eastwood:
His nose looked like a penis. Not ‘kind of like a penis’; it looked like a urologically-correct appendage, right down to what we believe is called the dorsal vein.
We took a digital photo of the screen image (posted above), and showed it to an NBC spokesman, who said, “I don’t see what you’re seeing,” which made us wonder if we just had a dirty mind. But, no: A source at the show confirms that Spade was indeed fitted with a penile proboscis.
“It was hilarious,” says the source. “Owen Wilson has a bad nose, but not that bad.” Our SNLer was surprised that we had detected what amounted to an inside joke.
They report that the FCC hasn’t received any complaints about the penile protrusion on Spade’s face so far, but that’s likely because it’s only really noticeable on big screen TVs which the guys at B&C.com just happened to have been watching at the time. Click the photo on the right for a bigger view. It would be interesting to see how the FCC would handle any complaints that do end up coming in, if any actually do in the long run.

Haha, I remember watching this episode the night it came on. I was watching it on my big screen HDTV and thought at first that they had a fake nose piece ontop of a fake nose piece. But then my mother of all people said it looked like a penis. No it doesn’t look like a penis it is one!
