On our recent trip to through the southwest (Las Vegas and the Four Corners states), we purposely planned our route so we’d get to drive along Route 666, which we thought would be really cool.
Much to our surprise, they’ve actually changed the name of Route 666—it’s now Route 491! Boy did that suck.
And yes, it was apparently renamed because of ridiculous superstitions. The strange thing is, according to this site, it was the Native Americans who complained about the symbolic meaning of 666—er, do they actually believe in biblical numerology? Weird.
Yeah, we’ve covered this highway here before. That entry is from back in 2002.
Unholy shit! That’s Zanesville!
I just moved from there, and I swear to satan, that’s the bank I used to go to! http://www.firstfedonline.com
What are the odds, eh?

Seems to me that “Detour 666” and “Enter Corp” is a bit redundant!
