Hell, look at my boring layout.

Boring? Perhaps, but it’s a clean design and at least you can highlight the text on your site. I still haven’t fixed that problem here.

My jealously comes from the fact that I have a need to be creative that I often have a hard time fulfilling. On bad days I can get very frustrated and it’ll affect my mood for awhile. Writing is one of the few things I’m relatively good at, but I want to be able to do more visual based stuff and graphic art stuff and web design stuff are things I’d love to be better at.

I suppose if I just keep practicing it’ll come along slowly, but surely. Sometimes I just get a little impatient and when I see the work of folks who make it look so easy I tend to want to just give up. It’s the child in me throwing a tantrum is all.

I am absolutely thrilled with my layout.  It’s exactly what I would have asked for if I had known what I had wanted in the first place.  “For someone with the graphic artist skills of an epileptic monkey” you did an awesome job on my Blog.  I greatly appreciate all of the hard work you put in to it.  Is it okay to say you are a God even if you are an atheist lol. 

And your beating yourself up because?  I know, I know…we are our own worst critics.  I happen to believe though that creativity comes in many different forms (as does beauty)...Yes, Leigh’s blog is beautiful, but you are no slouch in the creativity department so stop it! So, do you feel better now that you have been sufficiently beat up?

My seemingly constant layout changes are merely a sign of how easily I become bored.   I probably drive a lot of people crazy with all of them.  And listen, friends don’t ever have to kiss up.   If there is ever anything I can help with, I’d be more than happy doing so.   But hey, I’m just a frustrated artist who can’t seem to draw or write a damn thing right now, so I play with graphics instead.   It makes me feel really good knowing you enjoy the results.
