Dad’s surgery went well.

Looks like my dad made it through his surgery in good shape. Cindy was up at the hospital with mom all day and she kept me informed on his progress throughout the day. She also posted a mini-update on her blog later in the evening. Mom will probably also get something up in the next day or so, but for the moment it appears everything went as well as could be hoped for. With any luck he’ll be back on his feet in no time at all. Thanks to everyone who has written with their good wishes and/or has bought him a small indulgence from his Amazon wish list. He was surprised at how quickly some of you jumped on it when I posted it. More info as it comes in.

Glad to hear it and now that he’s gonna be feeling better maybe he can take a few minutes to expand his wish list.
