Chuck Missler disproves Evolution with a jar of peanut butter.

Hadn’t heard of Chuck Missler until I came across this video, but apparently he’s a businessman turned preacher who started the Koinonia House ministry in 1973. In the following video clip he argues that if Evolution were true then he should, on occasion, open up a jar of peanut butter and discover new life. Yes, he’s seriously making that argument.

It’s pretty funny until you realize that a lot of nutcases out there are watching this video and nodding in agreement.

You are incorrect in both of your assertions. There are plenty of proofs for God, plenty. But those proofs are turned into lies and the distorted evidence is referred to facts.

You are just being willingly ignorant about Perry Marshall’s envdeavor. He did not get this ass *slinged*, otherwise I would not have post it here.
You are willingly discarding the evidence, THAT’s why you claim there is no God perhaps, because Im sure you do this with pretty much everything else, no?

The skeptics were NOT able to disprove Perry, They all started by contradicting Perry that DNA is not a code but only analogous to Code, but at the end of the lenghy Back and Forths, those skeptics had no choice but to accept the fact that it is a Code. This is an argument that comes up on Youtube ALL the time, people keep saying DNA is NOT a code.

Read it! What you are doing is not diligent, only foolishness..... to assume it is incorrect.

Many points support the reality of God and the validity of the Bible. Each one is lengthy and takes weeks to get through. I gathered all this for about 3 to 4 years and took the time to check everyone is correct. There are always PROS and CONS for any topic, so you need to be diligent and see where each one and all of them together point:

---Fulfilled Prophecy (Daniel 9 was fulfilled to the letter and Daniel was included in the LXX about ~ 3 centuries prior to the event!)
-----near-death experiences
----Alien abductions and UFOs
---Equidistant letter sequences
---Biblical types and anti types
---Historically accurate
---Archeological discoveries
---Creation - DNA - Sexual reproduction - Anatomy etc...and more.

Alien abductions and UFOs; ( I do not believe that they are real aliens, but they are something !) and it proves several points: (1) spirits are real (2) Abductions are linked to occultism (3) Occultism is real, in the sense that there are real supernatural phenomenons that occur/ have occurred (4) Many abductions and UFOs are hoxes, not all (5) Alien Abductions ultimately is shown to have a great strong link between the Nephilims of Genesis 6. (6) Also, Aliens disappear in the Name of Christ!

You want evidence? Then do your own homework, pursue these books and expend the research and evidential points from them:

Gary Bates (Alien intrusion): http://www.amazon.com/Alien-Intrusion-Gary-Bates/… <---very well documented with plenty of sources in each chapter for you to check out the facts. But do not limit yourself to that.

Chuck missler (Alien Encounters): http://www.amazon.com/Alien-Encounters-Secret-Beh

Hebrew Scholar Michael S. Heiser (the Facade): http://www.amazon.com/Facade-Michael-S-Heiser/dp/

The links may not work so look for the author and title in Google (amazon.com)

Look at the ratings on each book, they are WORTH to check out.

You cannot argue that there is no evidence, that’s a blatantly wrong statement. In fact, there is not evidence for “molecules-to-man” evolution. The evidence is distorted because the evolutionist or microbiologist already made the decision, like you, to reject the obvious. I have visited TAlkorigins quite often, and it is funny how they present the “ evidence “. I have also check godandscience.org. Microevolution is not disputed at least by well honest and informed scientists such as Jonathan Sarfati, but a bacteria will remains a bacteria. What about Sexual Reproduction?

Anatomist David Menton shows why Sexes and the sexual reproduction system, and any other system in our body could not derive from molecules to man evolution.

DNA is a code and a code as such cannot derive from abiogenesis - despite the model of Abiogenesis, which leads to evolution.

Thus a creator is Obvious, even WITHOUT all of this evidence, thus Romans 1:20 and so on.

I see how you win arguments, Brian.  Any sufficiently unintelligible nonsense is just too boring to waste time refuting.

Last_Hussar:

I was writing another comment when you posted “ Such as”, well know you can read.

It takes time to look at everything that is listed, you cannot simply perform a google seach and say “Hey here’s a rebuttal”. Of there are rebuttals! There are PROS and CONS for every topic, you need to take the time to go through it. The evidence points to God.

I say it again, I generally go through PAnda’s website and talkorigins and godandscience.org and similar websites. But I obviously do not limit my conclusion to that.

My biggest proof to myself, is my own conversion to Christ. But it is not a proof I can post here obviously, it is personal. It is not a conversion of “ Hey I decided to become a Christian from now on”. I was changed/transformed after accepting Christ. There are MANY self professing Christians out there, even the Bible talks about this in 2 Peter, 1 John, and Jude. They are the fake Christians that give a bad impression.

This is NOT about wining an argument, it is for you to check out the facts.

My main comment here was to show that Chuck Missler’s peanut butter argument is not exposed in any detail in the video and people conclude: Ah! What an idiot, moron!

PH.D Jonathan Sarfati in “Chemicals to Living Cell” shows why this is indeed correct. It all goes back to a real scientist with emperical evidence - namely Louis Pasteur - as shown.

Chuck Missler did not blindly make that statement. And that videos is OLD by the way. You check out his new DVDs:

UFO abductions? Really? That’s the best you can do? I suppose speaking in tongues and ghosts are proof too? Ouija boards proof of angels? Where do elves and unicorns fit into all this, with the peanut butter, building the case against evolution?

You creationist guys crack me up.

“Take me seriously!” then “UFO’s!!!”

Allow me to blaspheme against your fictional deity a moment, but goddamn that’s fucking awesome. It’s like a Will Ferrell movie that must be running inside your heads, all day, all the time. Stupid people are funny as hell.

I dunno Les, once the little green men get trotted out their willful ignorance is sort of cute - like kids with Santa Claus. You almost want them to start explaining other things they don’t understand, like television and transistors just to see what other crazy shit they can come up with.

But what do I know, I think my most favorite sort of people are four year olds.

Creationists are cute as subjects for a field study on confirmation bias. They’re not so cute once you remember that they get to vote.

Brian is indeed a sad case. He’ll walk away with the clear conviction of having prevailed while never realizing that the “proof” and “evidence” he mentioned doesn’t pass the laugh test.

Les:

I would take you seriously if you would be diligent and research thorougly before laughing at something like shown in the video. Did you even look for Jonathan Sarfati or any other real Scientist?

We all have the same planet same evidence, it is the presumptions that come into play. However sometimes those presumptions are shattered by the evidence.

I provided all of you with links to expand your research and yet you all deliberately reject the evidence without having checked it out. If the links don’t work then look for the author and name of the book.

“That’s the best you can do”?

No that’s not the best, those are examples. A list of examples. Am I supposed to write everything in here, obviously not. I cannot state a proof, because evidence and a proof has to be backed up and is always lengthy, especially for these kinds of subjects, thus your comment is really irrelevant. Do your own research and come up with your own conclusions.

The *Sad* case is really the ignorance you show and the personal attacks you address since you have no real information to really provide.

You all continually set up a Strawman arguments and personal attacks now.

Really Pitiful, and sad.

Im off—Hehe

Did Brian already leave to find a more receptive crowd? I thought he’d have more stamina…

I’ve often thought as “SEB Usage Guide for True Believers™” to be useful addition to the wiki. Perhaps it would see more usage if Les renamed it to SEBpedia.

This site has been around for a long time and many of the regulars have been around for years. During this time, we’ve just about seen it all and if not on SEB, then elsewhere.

True Believers™ trying to champion their pet cause (be it Christianity, creationism, conspiracy theories, you name it), should be aware of a few informal rules.

Learn how to spell, use proper grammar, and express yourself coherently and don’t even think about using the CAPS LOCK key. If you come across as illiterate, you’ve created an insurmountable obstacle for yourself.

It’s extremely unlikely that you’ll bring anything new to the table. Drop links if you must, but make a good case why anybody should bother checking the links.

Don’t waste your time complaining if nobody takes yourself of your sources seriously. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence and unless you make a compelling case, you cannot reasonably complain about your pet theories being summarily dismissed.
