Well, that wasn’t as bad as I expected. Probably helps that I bumped into my neighbor who pretty much did the work for me. A fair trade-off seeing as I’ve helped them with their technology issues for years now. He seemed rather happy that I finally had a problem he could lend me a hand with. Good thing too seeing as he had a proper socket set and all I had was a pair of pliers and an adjustable wrench. My timing was perfect; I had just gotten the hood open and was staring at the car guts with an expression bordering on bewilderment I’m sure when he stepped up and asked if he could lend a hand. Ten seconds later and he would have been in his apartment and I’d be futzing around with my stupid wrench.
Just goes to show how much of life is just a matter of good timing…
