Poor Bill Gates. He has a tough life what with being the richest man in the world and all. He even said in an interview that he wishes he wasn’t the richest man:
“I wish I wasn’t,” he said in a session in which he was being interviewed by Donny Deutsch, the host of an interview show on CNBC.
Gates is ranked by Forbes magazine as the world’s richest individual, with an estimated wealth of about $50 billion.
“There’s nothing good that comes out of that,” he said. “You get more visibility as a result of it.”
We all have our crosses to bear and his is that he never has to decide which bill he’s going to pay this month or whether he’s ill enough to justify going to see a doctor. Must be hella rough. No, really. I’m not being sarcastic at all. I promise.
Maybe.
Still, I’d love to have Bill’s problem. At least when you have too much money you can balance things out by giving some of it away and Bill honestly deserves big time kudos for the fact that he gives away quite a lot all the time through the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. If being so rich is still bothering him, though, I’d happily offer my services in taking some of that cash off his hands. Hell, a mere $25,000 would be more than enough for me to pay off every debt I have, get my car back into shape, and put a decent down payment on a house. That’s not much. Probably a good lunch for Bill. Not that he should feel obligated, it’s his money and he should spend it how he sees fit, but if he wants some help I’m humbly at his service.

If you want any help with that, Les, I’d be happy to assist you in helping the unfortunate Mr Gates to feel a little better. Just let me know…
