Amazon.com taking pre-orders for “Spore” and lists a release date.

Got an email from Amazon.com today announcing they’re accepting pre-orders for the highly anticipated Spore from legendary designer Will Wright. More importantly, they’ve listed a launch date:

March 3, 2008. Gleee!

Gonna have to mark that one on the calendar. Gonna have to buy a calendar to mark it on. Gonna have to save up $149.97 ($49.99 x 3) cause there’s no way in hell just one copy in this house is going to pass without a minor riot.

And yes, if you pre-order though that little linky above I get a little credit with the folks at Amazon.com once the order actually ships.

Yeah, but hardware specs does that game need and more importantly, what DRM does it use?
