I must say I got more than a few emails telling me how ugly I am with hair so in deference to your preferences I have once again applied razor to scalp in preparation for my visit to Canada this evening and am once again the stunningly beautiful man you’ve all grown to know and love. How anyone could look at a face like mine and not see how gregarious, friendly, and outgoing I am is beyond me. I mean, just look at this smile! How could anyone be frightened of a smile as warm and inviting as that??

You can click the pic for a bigger version and really bask in my good looks. Is it any wonder that small children stop me while I’m at the Mall during this time of year so they can tell me what they want for Christmas? What do you mean by, ‘A restraining order?’

I was working under the assumption that it was a live broadcast, but I just checked the CBC Program Schedule for this evening and it appears they’ll be taping it and broadcasting it later in the evening around 10PM or so.

We were told to be there by 6:30PM and to expect it to wrap up around 8:30PM. Here’s the blurb from The National website:

Monday, November 29, 2004, 10:00 p.m.
CBC News Inquiry: Continental Divide? - Windsor

Chief Correspondent Peter Mansbridge broadcasts live from the Art Gallery of Windsor in front of an audience made up of both Americans and Canadians. Americans will appear, via satellite, to explain why they are moving to Canada...and the audience will discuss and argue the points. We will also meet Canadians who would gladly switch with Americans who have decided to move here...they like the direction the U.S. is heading in.

The program following this is scheduled to start at 11:25PM so it looks like the show will run approximately an hour and 15 minutes. It should be an interesting and educational experience to say the least.

DeadScot, I haven’t been able to find one of them yet. Supposedly Walgreens carries them, but the ones around here haven’t had any so far. Still searching for them though.
