I see that all the time, especially when you criticize someone’s point of view and they cry “censorship!“.  Nooo, ‘Censorship’ is when the government prevents someone from saying something.  Calling BS is not even remotely related to censorship.

The marriage was a novelty and it seems that the novelty wore off.  What was she thinking when she married a 14 year old kid?  What were his parents thinking when they allowed their 14 year old son to marry anyone, of any age?

I was 15 and I had a 30 year old girlfriend.  At the time I was really happy and I thought it was all good and we loved each other.  She kept going on about how she was depresed and how much better I made her feel and how she would get really bad again if I left her.  I didn’t relise at the time but these were all mind games she was playing and due to my inexpiriance I didn’t relise.  I was scared to leave her in case she killed herself.  I do feel now I missed out on a massive part of my childhood.  Growing up, looseing virginity normaly, picking up birds at night clubs.  All the things you do between 15 and 20.  It was all handed to me on a plate and I took it but I didn’t relise.

I am 26 now and my honest advice to a 14 year old involved with someone much older is.  Do what you want have sex with her if you want learn from an older woman but don’t let it get seriouse by all means dump her after or just go back for the expirience.  Being young is about doing what you want no commitments.  You have plenty of time to settle down.

Have Fun but don’t settle down till ya 25 or later and always USE A CONDOM because that can end your childhood to.

She is probably in a mid-life crisis. Being with a younger person can make you feel younger. Maybe he’s good at sex? Sure, he’s only 14, but unless he’s done you, you can’t really say. Maybe she’s lonely or depressed, and he’s a nice guy?

His parents probably thought it would be easier and quicker to say “sure, and we’ll help you fill out the divorce papers when you’re ready,“ than to fight him on it. If the parent’s said “no,“ this relationship probably would have lasted longer.

As for the morals, irrelevant. Doesn’t affect me. Good law though. The couple consents, and the minor party/parties gets parental permission.
