said the following in Bush no more honest than Clinton, but public buys his story anyway. United States Posted on 03/28/2003 at 08:59 PM

I just have to get all of this off my chest…... I am sick and tired of all the bashing Real Americans have had to take since Bush has stolen the presidency….  I have yet to talk to some one, person to person that will even admit to me that they voted for Bush. I have complained, yelled, screamed this out and no one will admit that they even voted for him, except one brother of mine. First … before 9/11, there were things going on that many people don’t know about. I’m not talking about the criminal activities George W Bush did before becoming president. There are too many of those to even list. Cheating in Harvard,. Drunk driving, Stock fraud. Then we have the relationships that we are not privy to…. How his dad was friends with and sold most of the weapons of mass destruction to Saddam Hussein, the ones we are now fighting to get rid of…the ones that have been destroyed over the past few years the ones that will never be found because they never existed.  And how he grew up with being friends, and on and on…

What I really want to get off my chest is the way the media, the government has really changed. We have many friends through out the world, won through the cold war, won because each of us has been fair; won because we developed rules to follow, won because we all played by the rules, and took care of each other. This is not the case now. ACCORDING TO THE LORD BUSH….. We can’t trust you, you don’t think like I do, We don’t want that rule because the president before me agreed to that. KATO???? I don’t know how to pronounce that so I don’t want to follow that rule. International law….. Well I just can’t do what I want so I don’t want this law. You don’t like my way of thinking then you must not be one of us….us…

Well Mr. Bush….. I am not one of you and I am proud of it. I care about the International Community. I care about our neighbors Canada and Mexico… Just because I do care does not mean that I am not American That I do not care about the troops fighting for your blood oil. I care about them and the innocent Iraq’s that are being killed…

In summary, you have become the HITLER… You want to stifle me in my voice, in my choice of freedom, and you have made it more dangerous for me to travel, to see the world, to visit my friends in other countries.  AND made it even scary to even be me.

While it is annoying, this action isn’t without historical precedent and, in fact, has already been done once this month by the other half of Congress. Why this resolution is getting more attention than the last one I’m not sure. Keep in mind that resolutions aren’t laws so much as “statements of opinion” by Congress.

In other words, they’re not saying you

have to do anything, they’re just saying they think it would be a good idea if the nation took a day to pray and fast. To which I say: I’ve got a few suggestions for acts Congress could undertake that would, I think, be of great benefit to the nation. Chances are, though, the various representatives and senators would just act all insulted if I were to tell them.

Actually Andrea, he is filming his next movie BECAUSE of his ideals. If all he cared about was the almighty dollar why not leave Bush alone, especially with him trying to push his idiotic tax plan through Congress? I am sure Mike would probably be getting a better tax cut than the lousy $300.00 we would get, the rich are the ones who ALWAYS benefit from having a Republican in office. Michael Moore plans on dragging Bush’s dirty laundry out into the publics view. Unfortunately most of us who care already know so it comes as no shock to us, for those of you who don’t well you weren’t going to pay any attention to the truth anyhow.

Pearls before swine.

I need his religion forced down my throat about as much as I need four more years of this imbecilic administration dismantling the constitution. He can give me three hail Marys and an hour long blow job.

At least once a day I think about Bill, but I don’t dwell on his death.  I remember everything that made him special to me. No, I’m not ten, but I was ten when I found out how wonderful Bill was.  I wish I could say that I’m sorry for my comments, but I’m not.  I am sorry that it happened, I am sorry for our loss and even in some ways yours, but it doesn’t change the ending.  It is good of you to stand by your friend, that is what good friends do, but you can’t expect us to not stand up for ours.  The battle of words isn’t helping anyone, so let me say this… Each night I pray for Bill’s family and friends, I pray for Mr. Seiko’s family too, but I’m not prepared to pray for Mr. Seiko yet.  One day maybe I will, when the anger has died down and the pain isn’t so real.  He fucked up people and someone died!  Fifteen years vs a lost life, doesn’t seem fair, talk to me in fifteen years, maybe I’ll feel differently.

This all boils down to democrats who are angry that President Bush is in office.  There is no logic or reasoning behind the protestors or their message.  Their message is “PEACE!“, well, guess what protestors, Saddam is not a peaceful man.  So how do we handle Saddam?  We blow his freakin’ brains out!  That’s how we handle him.  As a member of the Marine Reserves, I hope I get a chance to go blow away a few ragheads!  What do you think of that democrats?  Huh?  I think you should stay away from me with your ignorance because I’m not “peaceful” when it comes to this war.

Hi;
I just dumped my boyfriend for five years after he made the following remarks yesterday regarding the war issues:

Quote:

1)“The Americans are the smartest people in the world, and the rest are stupid because they simply can not see what a bad guy Saddam is…“

2)“President Bush should take on North Korea and other bad countries as well…by dumping some more bombs on them because those countries belong to the “axis of the evil”...

3)“We American have an obligation to bring our democracy to other countries like Iraq, and make it an example for the rest of the middleast region…“

Talking about how ignorant, arrogant, self-rightous Americans can be, you can not beat the above remarks. My ex boyfriend is born and bred in a middle west town; has never set foot in any foreign countries, and yet, he made those remarks with all the self assurance and pride. I guess I do understand now why president Bush could ever be elected, being popular and maybe re-elected next year…God bless our country!

weeks after the event, I still find myself saying IF ONLY ...? every lunch hour.  This is my selfish sentiment of realizing that I miss Bill, a ‘Great’ guy.
I have a general sympathy for people who lose their future because of an extrenuating circumstance. EX) a marathon runner who loses his legs in a car accident. But it is all RELATIVE. If you want, put in my perspective, with similar feelings of that of bill’s friends, and understand that relatively speaking the sympathy for Gary is .00000000000000001%.
I think he needs to pay for his extremely reckless behaviour and actions and get the full sentence. If it wasn’t Bill, it would have been somebody else,if not that day, another day. He had no respect for the law and the life of others around him.
Remember, that my thoughts are selfish, so if you want, take my words for what they are, and just that.
Respectfully,
Scoons

And a banned book at that ;->

I’m un-American (as defined by Bush, Rumsfeld, et al.) Does this mean I don’t have to foot the bill for this latest war? That I can mark my taxes “Payable to schools, emergency disaster recovery agencies, and social programs only” and have it stick?

$78 billion dollars for six months of war on Iraq. And who wants to bet that, according to the Bush administration, our “goals” won’t have been reached yet? At least humanitarian aid is factored into that figure. Everyone volunteer at your local school and library - ‘cause they’re going to feel the budget shortfalls.

I don’t know. Isn’t part of our duty as Americans to take part in the events of our country, whether that be by paying our taxes, voting, stating opposition to things we don’t like, asking questions, and so forth? Or am I just being hopelessly silly? (Move over and give me some room on that bench.)

When I first wanted to move to Canada, I wanted to go to a specific, rain-forest-y part of the country. It’s beautiful. It’s lush. It’s green. It’s on the west coast. It’s near two major metro areas - three if you count the nearest American city of size. I wanted to become a Canadian citizen because I wanted the right to vote in Canadian elections. I thought that if I lived in a place, I should exercise all the rights and responsibilities of a resident of that place. I got this whole crazy idea from…being raised American.
